Broken homes or broken society






Emotional scenes of parents meeting their children and at times toddlers and infants can be seen in the jam packed corridors and verandas outside family court rooms across the very much(on paper only)Islamic Republic of Pakistan that cause any sensitive heart to feel the pain of the families suffering with the plight.
The mantra of protecting the honor of chadar and chaar deewari in seminars and conferences held by both the conservative and liberal factions is as vehement as the glimpse of the same is rare in actual practice.
Privacy is a worldwide concept and despite being a Muslim state,taking pride in securing women's rights and honor in our religious scripture as well as guaranteeing in our constitution,why are we unable to exercise the same in our public life at places where the mixing of both genders is unavoidable.
Parents especially mothers who are to nurse and even feed infants,are in urgent need of private premises where they along with their long seen loved ones can spend quality time without being disturbed by public starers,gazers and passing by onlookers.
An appeal is made via these lines to raise voice in this regard so that the concerned authorities take heed of this public interest issue and make necessary arrangements.
