We trade in what they aid

Gulzar ahmad a legal counsel by profession is busy shopping households at namak mandi(salt market it used to be in past) bazaar peshswar Pakistan that all of a sudden a glimpse of NOT FOR SALE food items strikes his eyes.
He approaches towards it and inquires further about the same.
He is told about the price and range of products available for sale  in a typical Pakistani customer dealing style.
This reminds him of his student's life help campaign that he along with his other mates had arranged for internally displaced persons from Swat.

It was back in 2009 when Pakistan was badly hit by the wave of terrorism and the brave and courageous inhabitants of beautiful Swat valley had to abandon their households in order to get their lives safe and sound.
Gulzar knew it was a difficult task to undertake yet he was determined to render a helping hand as much as possible to his countrymen in the hour of need.
He planned to kick start a donation campaign within his family and friends circle. To his pleasant surprise he succeeded in arranging a handsome amount of money added by an extra out of need daily use wearing and clothing items from passionate people.

He went to Karkhano Market(a busy market of mostly smuggled items)in the suburbs of Peshawar to purchase some tents.
While making a deal,he came across this fact that the tents had UN logos embossed on them.He inquired as if they were legally available for sale and he would face no problem in case he purchased them. The dealer smiled and said,"we buy them over and again to sell them over and again.you don't worry!"
This is a bitter reality that nothing substantial has changed since 2009 as Gulzar is witnessing the same in the winter of 2017.
Same aid items coming to country on account of donation from USA,UNO and other donor agencies are being embezzled, sold out in open markets at cheaper prices because they are legally banned to be sold and bought and then they are re-sold to public at higher prices for their better quality.
The irony is that each and every member of the society of Islamic Republic of Pakistan is involved in this social crime which every other person of the society curses at,makes hue and cry for, yet takes full benefit of the same when and where possible.
Who is going to plead guilty? Who is the first to committ not to be benefited from the same anymore?

Gulzar wonders at the sudden thought storming his conscience as he is disturbed by a coming call on his mobile from his wife who reminds him to get a couple of sachets of "maamta".
He picks some of the item, pays the shopkeeper and walks away.
